We arrive very early in the morning around 5.30am, is it better for us to prebook a private transfer or take the public transport instead?
We plan to do the amphibious tour and a sightseeing around the city .
What is the best way of doing it. Is better to join tour or do it ourselves? Do we need to prearrange any of these?
We leave to the airport around 3pm on the following day.

Booking of private transfer is not required. After your passport clearance, take the normal taxi just outside the airport.
Limo taxi booths are also available in the airport hall area to suit your travel preference. Journey to your hotel should take around half an hour or less.
The normal Singapore Hotel checkin time is twelve noon.
Presumably you have prearrange an early check in, by the time you get into your room , it should be around 9 am at latest. If you do not have early checkin prearranged then you may leave your luggage with the hotel while you go for sighseeing.
In the morning the weather is much cooler and less sticky due to traffic heat. So the amphibious boat tour is more enjoyable in the morning. The first boat leaves at ten. Limited seats and the operator requires advanced booking .
Duration of the tour is one hour subject to traffic condition. We will assist you with the booking. However we do not collect the payment on your behalf. You must make the payment personally to the amphibious boat operator when you go. They accept cash or credit cards.
In the afternoon after lunch , while an organized tour is a good option to consider, the open top bus offers an alternative way to explore the city for the adventurous
