Listed are the hotels withing walking distance to all places mentioned. Opposite the esplanade is the Oriental hotel. Behind the oriental hotel is the Marina mandarin hotel. The marina mandarin hotel stands opposite the suntic city convention center.
Opposite the suntec city main entrance is the Conrad hotel. It is more popular with business executives. Millenia walk links the Conrad hotel to the pan pacific hotel.
Another recommended hotel within five minutes walking distance from the group of hotels mentioned above is Swissotel Stamford.
It is cylindrical in shape and also the tallest hotel in Singapore. Among its facilities are outdoor swimming pools, tennis court, fitness gym .The esplanade beckons every time you leave through the swissotel front door.
Next to the Swisotel stamford, on the left of its front door is the Raffles Hotel. This is where you will have your high tea. Linking to swiss hotel on the right side of its front door is the Singapore MRT station.
Should you decide to stay at one of the hotels above, the arab street and the bugis market are also within walking distance.
Suggested itinerary:Wednesday: arrive in Singapore. Go to Suntec City and take the open top bus to go around the city. Evening after the open top bus tour , explore some local or western dinner at local food court. Suggestion: Go marina square food court on level too.
Have dinner on the balcony overlooking the singapore esplanade, mouth of singapore river , the merlion and so to be the Sand Casino.
Thursday: Morning : do the amphibious tour at ten. Afternoon: Visit bugis market and arab street. Lunch at arab street. There are many restaurants there from local to mid eastern. Evening : Night Safari. Dinner will be arranged.
Friday: Sentosa Island. Take the MRT to the harbour front . From there take the cable car or the monorail across to the island. Musical fountain show starts around seven in the evening. Private pick up and drop can also be arranged subject to request.
Saturday: Morning: Botanic Garden and shopping . From the singapore botanic garden walk down towards orchard road. That is where the malls are. Afternoon, High Tea at Raffles . Seating is 3pm. Evening: Dinner on the harbour cruise.
