On foot: from furama hotel riverfront , it is within half an hour to forty minutes walk to sentosa harbour front and vivocity shopping mall.
To get there: from furama riverfront hotel front entrance turn left. Follow the road sign and walk towards tiong bharu plaza shopping mall.
Once you reach the tiong bharu plaza , carry on walking and turn left at lower delta road. Walk straight down on lower delta road until you see a road sign to mount faber road on your right.
At the top of mount faber is where the cable car tower is. It ' s quite a distance to walk to the top of mount faber if you include the steep hill climbing.
Otherwise carry on walking down lower delta road to gateway avenue. You should see vivocity shopping mall by now and the cable cars running to and fro from the top of mount faber .
If you do not feel like walking then take a taxi. This is a much quicker way. Tell taxi driver to take you to the mount faber cable car or vivocity shopping mall. Sentosa monorail also run from harbour front into and out of sentosa island .
Alternative number three is to take the mrt (subway train) from either the outram station or the tiong bharu station to the harbour front station. Outram mrt station is just a five to ten minutes walk from furama riverfront hotel.
Again , to get to outram mrt, from your hotel entrance turn left and keep left towards outram mrt and follow the road sign. Free maps are available in the hotel lobby with detail directions.
Take note: There are two furama hotels in Singapore. One is furama riverfront hotel, opposite copthorne waterfront hotel. The other is furama city center, near clarke quay. Be specific to the taxi driver.
