If you take the mrt you need to change to a bus at kranji , marsiling or woodland mrt. The journey is longer . Another way is to take a bus from the rochor bus station. The buses there take you direct to Johor.
Two types of bus services running from the rochor bus station. One is the normal bus service. The other is the express bus service.
Rochor bus station is within walking distance from the marina mandarin hotel. Walk towards the raffles hotel from the marina mandarin driveway entrance .
On the other side of raffles hotel is the singapore national library. In front of the library is the intercontinental hotel. The hotel connects to bugis junction shopping mall. From there walks to the rochor bus station.
Alternatively take a short taxi ride to rochor station.
